CraveTV Announces SHOWTIME Summer Slate

CraveTV has announced its summertime slate, and August is seeing a new batch of programming from SHOWTIME, beginning August 4th.

All seven seasons of SHOWTIME’s racy comedy series Californication land on Canada’s streaming service. On August 20th, Andrew Dice Clay returns for Season 2 of Dice, joining previously announced new seasons of Ray Donovan and Episodes, which begin streaming August 6th and August 20th, respectively.

Rounding out new SHOWTIME content for the month is the highly anticipated new documentary about legendary singer Whitney Houston, Whitney. “Can I Be Me,” which begins streaming August 25th.

Meanwhile, David Lynch and Mark Frost’s Twin Peaks, which drove the biggest single-day spike in CraveTV subscriptions in 2017 and is the most-streamed launch of a SHOWTIME series in CraveTV history, continues throughout August. Beginning Sunday, August 6th with Part 13, the series moves into a new timeslot, with new parts streaming at 8pm, day-and-date with SHOWTIME in the US.

As well, executive producer Jim Carrey’s one-hour drama series I’m Dying Up Here ends its current season run, Sunday, August 13th at 10pm.
