L.A. pop-rockers Rooney are about to release their new album Washed Away, and they’re celebrating with a hometown show at the gorgeous Teragram Ballroom alongside Deep Sea Divers and Wild Wild Horses.
Washed Away will see a release on the band’s own new label, California Dreamin’ Records through Warner Music Group’s Independent Label Group. The 12-track offering finds the band as buoyant and pop-energized as ever, with Robert Schwartzman taking command of songwriting duties and expanding on their career-spanning deep immersion into power-pop mastery. If lead single “My Heart Beats 4 U” is any example, we’re in for a sunshine-bright collection of infectiously catchy jams perfect for Summer kickoff.
Washed Away arrives May 6 via Beachwood Park Music.
