Exclusive Video | Riff Raff, Killer Snakes and Will Forte

You know Will Forte from Saturday Night Live and MacGruber, but you’ve probably never bought drugs from him. That won’t change today, but if you see the movie Keanu you will get to see Will Forte play a drug dealer who runs afoul of a violent gang – and a killer snake – in the brand new kitten comedy starring Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, of Key and Peele.

I sat down with Will Forte to talk about the solemn responsibility he had to document a once mighty, now dying breed: illegal weed dealers. In turn, Will Forte tells me all about the research he did, including into the hip-hop star Riff Raff, who I am completely unfamiliar with and confuse for a character in the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Will Forte also describes the anxiety he had about working with a giant snake, and the time on Saturday Night Live when he blithely volunteered to work with a chimpanzee without having any knowledge of whether or not it would be safe to do so.

Keanu mews its way into theaters on April 29, 2016!
