Lee Lin Chin Continues Her Viral Video Domination By Guest Hosting ‘Play School’

Celebrating 50 years of entertaining and educating kids across the country, ABC children’s television institution Play School decided to mark this milestone by having SBS news presenter and sartorial icon Lee Lin Chin guest host. ‘Cos what 4 – 6 year old isn’t a fan of her even handed political reporting and cutting edge fashion sense right?

Part of SBS2 sketch comedy program The Feed, the clip follows on from her recent part in the Make A Wish Foundation Iron Boy project as well as her recent Lara Bingle-esque turn promoting Sydney’s nightlife. Being such an in demand viral star though, Lee Lin understandably had some demands.

At first she was outraged at having to present with co-host and Play School regular Takia. “I host alone little man,” she tells him.  Taking her problem up the ladder, she then went on to lecture a junior producer about the absurdity of the whole ordeal, pointing out her core demographics are “ironic hipsters and Saudi oil barons that want to make me their bride,” not kindergartners.

Still, she eventually comes around and agrees to participate, after she’s told she’s getting paid although not very well – “it’s ABC” after all.

Rather than soften her style for the younger audience though, Lee Lin pulls no punches on Play School, maintaining her rigorous journalistic ethics by questioning the baseless assertions put forward by her co-host.

“No one knew more about fashion than Taylor Fergus,” said Takia.

“I dispute that,” Lee Lin rejoined.

The fun doesn’t stop there though, and you can check the video out for yourself here below.
