Exclusive Video | Fargo Season 2 Blu-ray Behind-The-Scenes Featurette

We love Fargo, here at CraveOnline. It’s one of the few television shows that we’ll watch live, even if it means watching the commercials! Earlier this year, we named Fargo season 2 our choice for the best drama series of 2015. Unfortunately, it’s going to be a very long wait until the third season of Fargo hits FX. But in the meantime, we’ve got an exclusive video from the upcoming Fargo season 2 Blu-ray and DVD!

This season, Fargo set the clock back to 1979 and dealt with the Sioux Falls incident that was alluded to by Lou Solverson during the first season. Patrick Wilson stepped into the role of a younger Lou, as he found himself in the middle of a mob war between the Detroit mafia and the Gerhardt family. Out of nowhere, Peggy (Kirsten Dunst) and her husband, Ed Blumquist (Jesse Plemons) inadvertently made things worse when they covered up the death of Rye Gerhardt (Kieran Culkin). Of course, Rye had already committed the infamous Waffle House massacre moments before Peggy slammed her car into him.

Our exclusive Fargo season 2 video comes from the behind-the-scenes featurette, Waffles and Bullet Holes: A Return to Sioux Falls. In this clip, the creative team explains why they deviated from the script when depicting Peggy’s reaction to hitting Rye, and the tension that unfolded when the Blumquists were introduced into the story.

Fargo season 2 Blu-ray and DVD will be released on Tuesday, February 23 with all 10 episodes from the second season. The included special featurettes are:

  • Lou on Lou: A Conversation with Patrick Wilson, Keith Carradine and Noah Hawley
  • Waffles and Bullet Holes: A Return to Sioux Falls
  • The Films of Ronald Reagan: Extended Fargo cut
  • The True History of Crime in the Midwest
  • Skip Sprang TV Commercial
