Karl Stefanovic and the team at Today have had their fair-share of gaffs in 2015 and now their hard work has finally been rewarded as they’ve made it into NewsBeFunny‘s infamous end of year blooper compilation, piecing together the biggest stuff-ups in news of the year.
Each month the team put together all the highlights of newsreaders and reporters making dicks of themselves on air but their end of year one is the creme de la creme.
While it seemed all hope was lost when Karl, Lisa Wilkinson and the team didn’t make it onto the first 2015 Best News Bloopers compilation, there’s been so many lol-worthy moments this year that they have dropped a part 2. And yes, Today features not once, not twice but three times.
There’s Lisa asking Sylvia Jeffrey’s, “did you swallow?” as the entire team cracks-up like giddy teenagers (0:44). There’s Lisa, once again, saying, “I’ll grow a beard because it’s in my genes,” while everybody takes it as jeans (1:06). And just when you think Karl is getting away scot-free, he appears with his stunned mullet reaction to great white sharks (7:00).
As it turns out, it’s the Americans that screw-up the most. They feature time and time again, making Karl and Lisa look like seasoned pros.
