Sam Smith Won’t Stop Looking to His Right in ‘Writing’s On the Wall’ Music Video

The music video for Sam Smith’s Spectre theme ‘Writing’s On the Wall’ has finally been released, and if you wanted to see a miserable-looking Smith wandering around stunning architecture with tears in his eyes, then you’re in luck.

The video, which features a few select clips from the upcoming Bond movie, sees Smith standing next to coffins draped with the Union Jack and, for some reason, features him almost exclusively looking downwards and to his right. Seriously, what the fuck is going on down there that’s so interesting?

You’re filming a music video for one of the biggest films of the year, Sam – the least you could do is divert your attention away from whatever it is you’re looking at for a second and pretend that we’re at least half as interesting. 

We’re up here, Sam.
