Song Premiere: Santah Find Retro-Pop Sweet Spot on ‘Here Are My Shells’

Chicago dream-pop quintet Santah are gearing up for a November 6th release of their second full length LP, Chico (Yes Club Records), and Crave is proud to premiere their next single – the passionately retro-shining “Here Are My Shells”.

Led by brother/sister duo, Stanton and Vivian McConnell, Santah includes Steve Plock on drums, Mike Winegardner on bass and Tommy Trafton on keys/synths. On their new release, Santah explore themes of duality with a cryptic self-inventory through expansive arrangements, immersive synths and an ear for throwback pop melodies. The new album sounds showcase a steady evolution trajectory through the 2010 release of their debut LP White Noise Bed, the acclaimed You’re Still A Lover EP (2012) and Awwh Man 7” (2014).

Listen to the harmony-rich “Here Are My Shells,” premiered exclusively on Crave:

Pre-order Chico on iTunes, and keep up with Santah at their official site, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
