JK Rowling Reveals the Fate of Harry Potter’s Son

Harry Potter has tweeted out some interesting information regarding the arrival of Harry Potter’s son, James Sirius Potter, at Hogwart’s.

In a series of tweets, the author wrote: “I’m in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King’s Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He’s starting at Hogwarts today.”

She continued: “Have just heard that James S Potter has been Sorted (to nobody’s surprise) into Gryffindor. Teddy Lupin (Head Boy, Hufflepuff) disappointed.”

Many fans are now speculating that these tweets suggest that Rowling is working on another story set within Harry Potter’s world, but one that focuses specifically upon James Potter and the children of the original series’ characters.

However, that seems unlikely given that Rowling is currently working on a Harry Potter West End stage play, and that the next series of films based upon the Harry Potter universe will be Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a planned trilogy based upon a book penned by Rowling describing the various mythological creatures residing within her magical world.

Still, Harry Potter fans will be pleased to learn that James ended up in Gryffindor, even if that may be the last piece of news we receive regarding the future of Harry’s son.
