The new judges will evaluate the contestants’ creations each week and determine who will win the trophy and a trip to the Warner Bros. studio tour in Tokyo. As of now, the reason for the former judges’ departure has not been disclosed.
James and Oliver Phelps will continue to be the hosts of the reality show. “We’re so excited for all Harry Potter and baking show fans across the world to see this season’s amazing showpieces. The all-star teams will leave our audience spellbound,” Oliver said in a statement.
James added that they feel the “luckiest hosts” to be a part of the tournament, which assembles the best bakers and chefs. He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of the first Harry Potter film in the series.
