Will Smith Biopic Trailer ‘Concussion’ Released

A movie beginning to gain some serious buzz is Will Smith’s newest endeavor, ‘Concussion.’

Why will it likely continue to gain steam, especially in the sports world?

Because it paints the NFL, and football in general, as the bad guy.

Smith plays Dr. Bennet Omalu, who is a doctor who discovered the real-life link between football head trauma and long-term dementia after performing an autopsy on a former NFL player.

Yeah. Heavy stuff. And it’s really just the tip of the iceberg

The brain trauma suffered following several hits to the head while playing football has been labeled as CTE – Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. It’s been found in 80 percent of former NFL player’s brains which have been studied. And you’ll continue to hear a lot more about it, especially with the help of this film that comes out this Christmas.
