Exclusive Hell on Wheels Season 5 Episode 7 Preview Scene

The story of Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) is nearly at its end. This week, Hell on Wheels will reach its midseason finale, before returning for the final 7 episodes in Summer 2016.

Over the course of the series, Bohannon has transformed from a vengeful ex-soldier into one of the major players in the race to build the first Transcontinental Railroad. This season, Bohannon jumped from the Union Pacific Railroad owned by Thomas “Doc” Durant (Colm Meaney) and joined Collis Huntington (Tim Guinee) on the Central Pacific Railroad. Part of Bohannon’s decision was influenced by his desire to find his estranged wife, Naomi (MacKenzie Porter).

Now working with Chinese immigrant laborers, Bohannon formed a friendship of sorts with Tao (Tzi Ma) and his daughter, Mei (Angela Zhou). However, Chang (Byron Mann) had Tao murdered, and Bohannon and Mei nearly got themselves killed in last week’s episodes while trying to give Tao a proper farewell.

The midseason finale of Hell on Wheels will find Bohannon once again reunited with his old nemesis, Durant as they meet with President Grant (Victor Slezak) to discuss the future of the railroads. But in CraveOnline’s exclusive preview scene, Bohannon is visibly dismayed when Huntington essentially orders him to lie to the President to preserve their edge over Durant.

Meanwhile, The Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl) has been slowly putting his plans in place for the Mormons. This week, those plans will finally be executed.

Don’t miss the mid-season finale of Hell on Wheels, this Saturday, August 29th on AMC!
