The Who Revealed as Final Glastonbury 2015 Headliner

 

After ridiculously extended anticipation, The Who have been announced as the third and final headliner of this year’s Glastonbury Festival

Foo Fighters and Kanye West will headline the Friday and Saturday nights of the festival, while The Who – currently celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band – have will play Sunday. Paul Weller will play the festival’s penultimate slot, directly before them on June 28.

“It’s great to be ending this part of a 50 year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world,” said The Who frontman Roger Daltrey in what we presume to be a robot voice. “We’ll do our best to close this year’s event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet!”

Also on the bill are Florence + The Machine, Jamie T, Alt-J, Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Jungle, The Chemical Brothers, Mark Ronson, Run The Jewels, Future Islands, The Fall, Pharrell Williams, Courtney Barnett, Death Cab For Cutie, Father John Misty and ah hell just look at the poster:
