Gamescom 2014: Sony Super-Hypes Until Dawn with Third Teaser Trailer

We’ve already seen two teaser trailers for a PS4 game reveal at Gamescom. This latest trailer makes it clear that the game is in-fact Until Dawn.

The presence of snow and the line “watch horror reinvented on PS4” has convinced us that Sony has been teasing Until Dawn all along. Originally announced in January 2013, Until Dawn is a game set in snow-rich mountains, with a heavy dose of thrills and horror. It is the perfect fit for what Sony has been teasing for more than a week.

It was originally announced as a PlayStation Move game. Now that a Move is essentially built into every PlayStation controller via the Light Bar, the only peripheral needed to imitate a flashlight is the PlayStation Camera. Chances are such an input method will be optional.

This makes a total of three teaser trailers for Until Dawn, giving us the impression that Sony has a lot of confidence in what Supermassive Games will show during Sony’s press conference tomorrow. We know that Bloodborne will make an appearance, as well as other games we’ve become familiar with like Driveclub and The Order: 1886, but Sony has chosen this particular game to hype up. There must be a reason for that.

You can see the other two teaser trailers regarding this game here and here.
