Multi-talented rapper, actor and producer Ice Cube is returning to Australia later this year for a run of three East Coast shows in support of his latest album, Everything’s Corrupt.
Ice Cube will hit Australia for sets in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this December, the former N.W.A member’s first visit since touring alongside P.Diddy, Rick Ross and Lupe Fiasco at the 2012 Supafest.
Long-time Cube fans will get to hear all the classics, including ‘Check Yo’ Self’ and ‘It Was A Good Day’ plus solo takes on N.W.A classics such as ‘Fuck Tha Police’ and ‘Straight Outta Compton’, as well as new music from his 10th studio album, Everything’s Corrupt.
The West Coast rapper recently came under fire for the surprise Everything’s Corrupt single ‘Drop Girl’ alongside 2 Chainz and LMFAO’s Redfoo, copping criticism on social media for the single’s departure from earlier “hardcore” times.
“To my hardcore fans, it’s only one song,” Ice Cube responded via Instagram. “When you see your girl dance to this shit, you’ll love me again.”
