La Roux says “F*** Kanye West” After Collaborating With Him

There’s seemingly no love lost between La Roux and Kanye West, as the singer-songwriter expressed her disdain for the musician despite collaborating with him on 2010’s Grammy-winning track ‘All Of The Lights’.

La Roux, real name Elly Jackson, was asked to discuss the music she’d produced with the rapper in an interview with The Sunday Times, to which she replied: “No, fuck him! Nobody likes him.”

La Roux had previously spoken about her collaboration with Kanye West, saying: “He had been kind of trying to get in touch with us over three months, I think over the summer. And well, obviously, we’d got his calls and stuff, but it was a bit difficult to get our schedules to meet up, so it just took awhile for us to do anything,” she recalled. “And then he said, ‘I’d really love you to sing.’ He was like, ‘Straight up, I want you to sing on the record.’

“And I was like, ‘Well, we’d love for you to do a remix to ‘In for the Kill.’ It’s great. It gets us on different radio and it gets us to a different audience, which is a great thing for any artist,” she said, describing it as a “scratching-each-other’s-back type of situation, which was really nice.”

Perhaps her disdain for ‘Ye is because his remix wasn’t very good? We’re just speculating here.
