Rafael Nadal has suffered an astonishing defeat at Wimbledon 2014 after being knocked out of the tournament by Nick Kyrgios.
The Australian teenager, in his first time playing a top three opponent, bested Nadal in four sets to advance to the next round.
After the match, the 19-year-old said: “I was in a bit of a zone out there. I didn’t really notice the crowd. I played some extraordinary tennis. I served at a really good level all the way through the match. I didn’t know what to do (when I won). I turned to everyone who’s been supporting me my whole life and don’t know what my dance was about but thought I’d throw that in too.”
Kyrgios scored 70 winners as opposed to Nadal’s 44, sending one of the favourites of the entire competition home in the fourth round.
