Project Morpheus Makes an Appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

Project Morpheus is still deep in development, but that didn’t stop Sony from showing it off on The Tonight Show.

During last night’s taping of The Tonight Show, Fallon’s trusty tech expert Joshu Topolsky demonstrated a couple of cool new technologies, one of which was the PS4’s upcoming Project Morpheus. The demo had Jimmy Fallon and Channing Tatum strapping into the headset and holding two PS Move controllers, allowing them to interact with the same demo environment previously shown at GDC 2014.

Both Fallon and Tatum were in awe at how real it felt, with Fallon later trembling in fear when a dragon appeared before him. Check out the video above.

Although the Project Morpheus model shown in the video is fully functional, it’s a prototype. The consumer model is expected to release sometime during late 2015.
