Morrissey has unveiled a short new spoken word video for his single “Earth Is The Loneliest Planet” on NME, and if you’ve been missing some trashy 90s pinup nostalgia, this is going to be right up your alley.
Former sex tape/”Baywatch”/Playboy star Pamela Anderson is the co-star on “Earth Is The Loneliest Planet,” the third single from Morrissey’s upcoming LP World Peace Is None Of Your Business. A companion film, directed by Natalie Johns, features lyric narration while Morrissey and Pamela Anderson indulge in a Hollywood sunset on the roof of the Capitol Tower in Los Angeles. Pam seems more taken with the Moz than any hazy sunset, and truth be told it’s a fascinating moment to see the two iconic personalities interacting reflectively atop the legendary Capitol Tower.
“Earth Is The Loneliest Planet” arrives Tuesday June 3 as a single via Harvest Records. World Peace Is None Of Your Business will be released on July 14.
