Watch: Karnivool Cover London Grammar

Australian progressive rock band Karnivool featured on Triple J radio this week where they dropped a London Grammar cover.

The band squeezed into the Triple J studios for a fresh rendition of ‘Hey Now’ with frontman Ian Kenny letting his falsetto range go full flight alongside some cycled guitar plucking for the broadcaster’s the ‘Like A Version’ segment.

The Perth band recently wrapped up a run with the Groovin’ The Moo festival and helped send Melbourne’s Palace Theatre out with a bang in one of the venue’s final shows. After claiming a No.1 ARIA spot last year for Asymmetry, frontman Kenny has had his hands full with a heavy schedule.

His other band, Birds Of Tokyo, spent the past few months supporting Muse Down Under before embarking on an extensive US radio promo tour. Karnivool are now off to Europe for their own summer tour and festival stops, including Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany, Sonisphere in the UK, Volt Festival in Hungary, Provinssirock in Finland, Sticky Fingers in Swednen and Novarock in Austria.

Fans can expect new material in the near future- Kenny told CraveOnline earlier in the year that both bands are back to actively writing after a hugely successful 2013.
