Rob Zombie is rounding the final bend towards the big 50, and all the rules are going out the window. The beloved rocker rocked a cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” at a show on Tuesday at the Myrtle Beach House of Blues.
After a false-start tease to the crowd, Zombie and band tore through a full rendition of the anthemic hit – to the crowd’s wild celebration and deafening vocal accompaniment.
Zombie confirmed last month that his sixth solo album is currently in the works.
“We’re really excited,” he told Pulse of Radio. “We really felt that for ourselves as a band, the last record really kind of got back to something that I was looking for, and we were just excited to take it to the next level. When you’re feeling inspired, you kind of want to go for it.”
