Aussie singer songwriter Dan Sultan hit Triple M studios recently were he performed a cover of ‘Purple Rain’.
Launching a massive Australian tour this June, Sultan and his three-piece band took to the radio station’s “Song Remains The Same” segment with a soul inspired cover of Prince’s 1984 classic.
‘Purple Rain’ isn’t the only Dan Sultan cover of 2014- he hit Triple J studios in March where he let loose a cover of Boy & Bear’s ‘Southern Sun.
Dan Sultan has a number of upcoming Australian dates in support of his third album, Blackbird, released earlier this month, which includes 21 capital and regional destinations for a run that will see him on the road late June through mid-August.
