SNL Names Next 3 Musical Guests

Love it or hate it, Saturday Night Live is approaching 40 seasons of late-night sketch comedy on NBC, making it the longest running comedy skit series in television history. The next few weeks on SNL will see an uptick in both hosts and musical guests, with comedian Louis CK, Pharrell, Seth Rogen and others joining the polarizing show.

NBC has announced the musical guests for SNL’s next three new episodes, leading with comedian Louis C.K. and musical guest Sam Smith on March 29th. The “Money On My Mind” singer will attempt to further cement his presence in U.S. markets with the appearance.

On April 5th, Pharrell provide the song breaks for Anna Kendrick’s hosting duties, undoubtedly bringing along his Oscar-riffic song “Happy” from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, and as Throwing Needles points out, there’s a pretty good likelihood Mr. Williams will bring a few friends along.

Lastly, while we’re rocking at Coachella in the deserts east of Los Angeles on Saturday, April 12, Ed Sheeran will be Seth Rogen’s musical guest.
