WTF?! Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards Writes a Children’s Book

The Rolling Stones’ infamous hellraiser is working on a children’s book. Yup, you read that right.

Richards, who has previously revealed that he snorted the ashes of his late father, is now set to publish a children’s book titled ‘Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar’.

Keith Richards collaborated with his daughter Theodora Richards in order to create the book, with her providing the illustrations.

Speaking of the book, Richards said: “I have just become a grandfather for the fifth time, so I know what I’m talking about. The bond, the special bond, between kids and grandparents is unique and should be treasured. This is a story of one of those magical moments. May I be as great a grandfather as Gus was to me.”

While the story may be heartwarming and lovely, I’m not entirely sure that I’d want to explain its author’s background to a kid. “Daddy, who’s Keith Richards?” “Well, Billy, he’s a man who should’ve probably been dead about 25 years ago due to all the smack and cocaine he’s crammed into his body. He has the face of an old man’s ballsack, but regardless of that he’s had a lot of sex with a lot of different women. Now go do your homework and brush your teeth before bed.”

Gus & Me will be published by Orion Children’s Books in September, and yeah, I’m probably going to buy it.
