Tupac Biopic Moving Forward With John Singleton

John Singleton has officially signed on to helm the long-brewing Tupac biopic, according to Variety.

Morgan Creek Productions and Emmett Furla Films will bring the story of Tupac Shakur to life, documenting the rise of the rapper, actor and political activist who was gunned down in 1996 on a street corner in Las Vegas, where he died 6 days later. His murder was never solved.
