Mickey Avalon, Hollywood’s undisputed poster boy for dirty sex-glam party anthems, has compiled the most debaucherous highlights from his recent Australian and Canadian tours. The result is a sex-charged groupie celebration called “I Get Even,” which just happens to be the title track from his latest EP – and CraveOnline’s got your exclusive premiere!
“The creative process is always different,” Mickey tells Crave of the track. “I rarely remember the specifics from song to song. Not because I’m fucked up, but it’s just not something that I have a technique for. Sometimes the beat comes first, and sometimes its the lyrics. I usually don’t have much to do with the music, but with this one I actually brought in the sample and pretty much produced it. The lyrics just came out, while listening to it. The meaning is pretty self explanatory, but as far as it being aimed at any one person or thing in particular; it wasn’t. It was more about me just venting.”
