Outlast On PS4 Will Be 1080p At 60 FPS

PS Plus subscribers are only days from receiving their next free PS4 game: Outlast. So how has its transition from PC to PS4 fared? Very well, actually.

Red Barrels co-founder Philippe Morin confirmed to GamingBolt that Outlast will not only play at a resolution of 1080p, but steadily at 60 FPS.

Now, Outlast‘s visual quality isn’t brag-worthy, but what makes this substantial is how effortless it was for the development team to port the game over from PC and achieve succesful results. Red Barrels has been happy with the CPU and memory of the PS4, both of which are developer-friendly and particularly powerful at a $399 price point.

Outlast was considered one of if not the scariest game of 2013. Look out for its PS4 debut on Feburary 5th.
