Call of Duty: Ghosts is only days away from releasing its first DLC package, Onslaught. Its four multiplayer maps are a reason to hop back online, but it’s the new co-op Extinction scenario that is the real highlight of the package.
The new scenario is called Nightfall, and Onslaught will unlock the first of its four chapters. There will be a narrative to follow and plenty of disgusting aliens to blow away. Just like with the other Extinction levels, you’ll want to bring a friend along for the ride.

At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the shadowy Nightfall Program has been researching the origins of the “Alien” threat. When the scientists lose control, a small team of elite soldiers must retrieve the intel, exterminate hordes of hostile creatures, and survive a three-story tall terror unlike anything they’ve faced before.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught releases on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on January 28th. Other platforms will get the DLC at a later date.
