Led Zeppelin Reissue Box Sets to Arrive in 2014

The long-storied Led Zeppelin remasters series that guitarist Jimmy Page has been working on will begin their rollouts this year, to continue into 2015. Over the next two years, the band will reissue their entire back catalogue in box set format, complete with bonus material.

Page broke the good news on his website, writing, “The first of the Led Zeppelin reissues — comprising of ‘Led Zeppelin I,’ ‘Led Zeppelin II’ and ‘Led Zeppelin III’ — will be released this year. I’ve also been working on some of my own material from the archives that will be unleashed in 2014.” The legendary guitarist has promised a greatly improved sound quality as well.

The amended release schedule will allow for a full promotional flight from Atlantic Records, rather than drowning fans in a mountain of price-prohibitive box sets all at once.

In other Led Zeppelin news, the band have finally give Spotify the rights to stream their music.

More details will follow as they arrive.
