Tales of Zestiria Announced with Worldwide Release Planned

The PS3 might be last-gen, but if you love JRPGs, then you should definitely hold onto it. Not only is Persona 5 coming, but a new Tales game as well.

Namco Bandai’s TalesofU Twitter account posted the following message:

We are proud to announce Tales of Zestiria coming worldwide to PlayStation 3!!!

Unlike previous titles in the franchise, Tales of Zestiria has been debuted with a worldwide release in-mind, so European and North American fans can play the game around the same time Japanese gamers do.

Tales of Zestiria will have much more expansive open-world environments than previous Tales releases. The combat will also be an evolution both mechanically and visually.

Here’s what one of the open-world areas and combat look like in the current alpha build:
