Xbox One Battlefield 4 Premium Members Are Being Refunded

Battlefield 4 has had a rather troublesome online launch, and as such those who subscribed to become a Premium member are now receiving full online refunds from Microsoft.

EA has been having increasing problems with the game’s servers since it released, and the new DLC ‘China Rising’ has caused even more problems, with some players being ejected from games or, in the case of Xbox 360 owners of the game, not being able to access the downloadable content at all.

As such, Microsoft is issuing full refunds to those who purchased the Premium membership for the Xbox One edition of the game, which retailed at $49.99/£39.99. No word on whether or not they will follow suit for the Xbox 360 edition of the game yet, and Sony has yet to make a move regarding the issue. We’ll keep you updated as and when we find out more.
