Remedy Entertainment took to the stage of VGX to share a little more about its upcoming Xbox One exclusive, Quantum Break.
Quantum Break will feature a variety of time-changing powers. These will affect the game world in major ways, including object manipulation. Remedy isn’t ready to talk about them in more detail, but says they will be a core concept for the game.
Remedy made it very clear during its time at VGX that Quantum Break is an action game, and will therefore not play anything like Heavy Rain as some suspected. A contextual cover shooting system will take precedence in the gameplay experienced, accompanied by a compelling narrative that will be similar in delivery as Alan Wake.
The graphics shown in the latest trailer are truly spectacular. Facial animations and detail will be realistically high whether or not you’re watching a cutscene.
