Titanfall Will Never Come to PlayStation, Says EA

We might have seen a PlayStation in Respawn Entertainment’s office, but that doesn’t mean it’ll ever produce a PS4 version of Titanfall. Nope. Far from it.

EA’s Blake Jorgensen confirmed during an investor call that Titanfall will only be on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC “for the life of the title”. It will not be a timed exclusive.

There’s definitely money under the table here in the same way there has been between Microsoft and Activision’s Call of Duty series since the early Xbox 360 days. Whether it’ll pay off is yet to be seen, but it’s worth bearing in mind that Titanfall was considered by many outlets, including ours, to be the best title of E3 2013. This could be a big win for the Xbox One.

Even if you don’t plan to get an Xbox One, you can still play it gracefully on PC. If you don’t have that either, then hope that a sequel for Titanfall doesn’t fall the allure of Microsoft’s money.
