Morrissey Says He Is “Humasexual” Following Autobiography Revelations

Morrissey was always tight-lipped when it came to his personal life, but his recent admission in his autobiography that his first relationship was in his 30s with a man named Jake Walters has intrigued fans.

So as fans continued to question the former The Smith’s frontman’s sexuality (because apparently stating that you spent several years in a committed relationship with a man isn’t enough), Morrissey has released a statement to fansite True To You, saying: “Unfortunately, I am not homosexual. In technical fact, I am humasexual. I am attracted to humans. But, of course … not many“.

So there you have it, Morrissey fans who are weirdly obsessed with finding which way the lyricist swings – he’s a fussy bisexual.

Morrissey’s autobiography, cleverly titled ‘Autobiography’, is out now. To get a taster of the kind of droll Morrissey-isms you should expect upon purchasing it, watch the below video of comedian Peter Serafinowicz singing its first page to the tune of ‘William, It Was Really Nothing’.
