Journey Coming to PS4 with Remote Play for PS Vita

Just like how PS2 games made the jump to PS3, the next-generation of PlayStation will be inheriting some stellar titles from older siblings.

Thatgamecompany has revealed on Twitter that a PS4 version of Journey is in development. However, the port has been outsourced to a separate studio, similar to HD Collection titles. No further details have been announced

The news has been met with thousands of requests to port the game to PS Vita. Although that possibility is uncertain, Remote Play is one option for those looking to play one of 2012’s best games on the go.

Flower, another award-winning Thatgamecompany title, was recently confirmed to be coming to PS4 as well. 1080p resolution at 60 frames have been promised making the visual display a sight to behold.

Journey follows its development studio’s heritage of artistic games with minimalist design. It was praised for its breathtaking visuals and emotional expression.
