Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell was a special addition to The Avett Brothers band during last night’s performance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. The band debuted the new song “Vanity,” off their forthcoming LP, Magpie and the Dandelion, which arrives October 15th.

Additionally, the boys showed their funny bone with a spoof infomercial advertising The Avett Brothers Sing Heavy Metal, hosted by a truly bizarre Fallon character. Watch below.
