Austin City Limits 2013: New Changes, Features & Maps!

Austin City Limits 2013 is going to be a somewhat experimental effort, with the October festival expanding to two weekends for the first time and filling in even more local flare, in addition to bringing one of its most diverse and impressive lineups to date.

Queens of The Stone Age, Atoms For Peace, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Reignwolf, Electric Six and Kendrick Lamar are just a few highlights of the 100+ bands set for the double-weekend music marathon. In a new development for ACL, fans can head to the official Austin City Limits site to create custom daily schedules and explore various local restaurants, retailers and nonprofits taking part in the festival. With over $100 million in revenue coming in for ACL 2012, the benefit to local business is massive – and is set to double in 2013 with the two-weekend expansion.

Fans also now have a useful guide on where to park for ACL, as Austin’s Zilker Park doesn’t provide parking – though there is a highly utilized bike rack that keeps tens of thousands of bicycles secure through the fest. Check out the parking map below.

Additionally, ACL offers a map of Zilker Park for attendees, featuring entrance points, locations for taxi pick-up locations and shuttle drop-offs, as well as road closures, passenger hot spots and motorcycle routes.
