Lorde has unveiled five new tracks in an intimate showcase in her native New Zealand ahead of her October Australian tour.
After starring as a last minute replacement for Frank Ocean at July’s Splendour in the Grass, Lorde originally debuted her material while making her first US visit in August, but used the weekend to reveal five tunes at a small performance in front of friends, family and industry reps in her hometown, Auckland.
The five new tracks- ‘400 Lux’, ‘A World Alone’, ‘White Teeth Teens’, ‘Buzzcut Season’, ‘Ribs’- are all set to appear on the debut album, Pure Heroine, later this month.
Lorde is about to embark on another North American trip, touring across six major cities before heading to Australia to perform six sold out East Coast shows.
