New Video Game Releases: August 26th to September 1st, 2013

The MMO genre and the future of online Final Fantasy titles get resurrected this week with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Playable on PC or PS3, it brings all of the charm of the series and lets you share it with thousands of others. Hop online, make a character, and start leveling up in the world of Eorzea this Tuesday.

On the same day, Lost Planet 3 lands on store shelves. Despite its numbering it takes well before the first Lost Planet and will be much more story-centric than its predecessor.

The NFL season must be just around the corner because Madden NFL 25 is coming out this week. It promises several improvements such as new running controls and new physics. Of course, what we’re really looking for are those shiny new graphics and updates rosters. Buffalo Bills fans can rally the troops with Matt Leinart, while San Diego Chargers fans can toss slant routes to Keenan Allen.
