Los Angeles rock station KROQ (106.7fm) kicked off the Summer festival season last weekend at their annual KROQ Weenie Roast festival at the Verizon Ampitheater in Irvina, CA, with a top-tier lineup packed with just about every band you sing along with in the car. In addition to powerful showings from radio darlings Of Monsters and Men, AWOLNATION, Vampire Weekend, The Black Keys and more, Stone Temple Pilots surprised us all with an unannounced set to debut their new singer, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
