KROQ Weenie Roast 2013 Gallery: 30 Seconds to Mars

Los Angeles rock station KROQ (106.7fm) threw down the gauntlet this year at their annual KROQ Weenie Roast festival at the Verizon Ampitheater in Irvina, CA, with a top-tier lineup packed with just about every band you sing along with in the car. In addition to powerful showings from radio darlings Of Monsters and Men, AWOLNATION, Vampire Weekend, The Black Keys and more, Stone Temple Pilots surprised us all with an unannounced set to debut their new singer, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.

Check out a photo recap of 30 Seconds to Mars' set at the KROQ Weenie Roast, wherein Jared Leto & Co. employed high-drama theatrics and some clever identity sleight-of-hand to wow the shrieking girls in the crowd. If anyone has any doubt in 2013 whether Leto has any pull with the ladies, they need only glimpse the crowd at a 30STM show. It's a sea of females, losing their minds for a chance to touch the man we used to call Jordan Catalano.
