1 of Brand New Day’s Most Dangerous Villains To Return in Spider-Man 5 – Report

A known Spider-Man villain may be making his MCU comeback in the next film. A new rumor claims this villain could return for Spider-Man 5. While Marvel and Sony have not confirmed the report, the claim has already sparked discussion among fans. The rumor comes as excitement continues to build around the next chapter of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man story.

Tombstone rumored to be back in Spider-Man 5

A fresh rumor from scooper MyTimeToShineHello claims that Tombstone will appear in Spider-Man 5. The insider simply posted, “Tombstone will return in the next Spider-Man movie,” without revealing how the crime boss could fit into the story.

Since there has been no official confirmation from Marvel Studios or Sony Pictures, treat this report as speculation for now. Even so, the possibility has generated excitement because Tombstone is one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous street-level enemies and has long-standing ties to New York’s criminal underworld.

The rumor quickly fueled debate across social media. Some fans wondered if another villain would also return, with one asking, “Scorpion?” Others said that Tombstone could be connected to Wilson Fisk’s growing influence, writing, “Cos he really working for Fisk.”

Another fan shared excitement about seeing the character on the big screen, saying, “Can’t wait to see how they bring Tombstone’s story to life this time.” Another simple reaction read, “Spider-Man 5 yeah.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows three hugely successful MCU entries starring Tom Holland. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), directed by Jon Watts, earned an IMDb rating of 7.4/10 and holds 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) improved on that momentum with a 7.3 IMDb score and 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, while Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) became a cultural phenomenon, earning 8.1/10 on IMDb and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Tom Holland is expected to reprise his role as Peter Parker, with Zendaya returning as MJ and Jacob Batalon expected back as Ned Leeds. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will trail the multiverse events of No Way Home.
