Zach Galifianakis’ New Show Topples 100% RT Series on Streaming

Zach Galifianakis‘ new TV show has replaced a psychological thriller that has received a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes across all seasons at the top of the AMC+ streaming charts. The Audacity premiered on AMC and AMC+ on April 12, 2026, and quickly drew critical and audience interest. Meanwhile, Dark Winds has been airing on those platforms since June 12, 2022. It returned with its 4th and most recent season on February 15, 2026.

The Audacity beats Dark Winds on AMC+ charts

The Audacity holds the top spot on AMC+ charts as of May 5, 2026, according to FlixPatrol. Dark Winds occupies the second spot. The other entries on the top 10 list are Tales from the Crypt, This City Is Ours, The Mortuary Assistant, Night Patrol, horror flick Dolly, Original Gangsters with Sean Bean, The Hunger Games, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Notably, the data from FlixPatrol isn’t necessarily complete, but it does give a broader picture.

Jonathan Glatzer created The Audacity and serves as its showrunner. The plot revolves around a tech CEO and his psychologist as they exploit personal data and deal with the resulting scandal.

Zach Galifianakis portrays Carl Bardolph in the show. The cast also includes Billy Magnussen as Duncan Park, Sarah Goldberg as JoAnne Felder, Lucy Punch as Lili Park-Hoffsteader, Meaghan Rath as Anushka Bhattachera-Phister, and Simon Helberg as Martin Phister.

The Audacity currently has a 79% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Alan French of FandomWire wrote, “The tech world melodrama is both incredibly insightful and a genuine joy to watch. Magnussen finally gets the role he earned a long time ago.”

As for Dark Winds, Graham Roland (Fringe) created the show. Some of its cast members are Zahn McClarnon as Joe Leaphorn, Kiowa Gordon as Jim Chee, and Jessica Matten as Bernadette Manuelito. Set in the ’70s, the show revolves around a group of Navajo Tribal Police officers.
