On January 19, 2026, scooper @MyTimeToShineHello posted “Good Steve vs Evil Peggy.” The next day, they followed up with “MCU Steve vs Doom Peggy.” This suggests a confrontation between Steve Rogers and a dark variant of Peggy Carter, possibly connected to Doctor Doom.

Rumors have previously stated that Hayley Atwell is portraying “multiple versions of Peggy in Avengers Doomsday.” This follows speculation that Doctor Doom’s team will include female Doom variants. Marvel has not confirmed these reports or Atwell’s casting.

The film is expected to include Captain Carter, who debuted in What If…? and later appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where Scarlet Witch killed her. The story may also include the Peggy Carter variant who reunited with Steve Rogers at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
