You would think a man who has made millions upon millions of dollars, has made some of the greatest movies of all time and has changed our childhood for the better would want a burger named after him. Because ultimately that’s the dream. But nope, Steven Spielberg wants nothing to do with that.

According to The Mainichi, fast food joint Carl’s Jr wanted to rename its charbroiled slider a “SpielBurger.” That’s right, a Spielburger. The company even left a note on his car…

Well, they thought it was his car:

But even with that, and with the potential to have a ton of people buy and eat a burger named after you, the iconic director passed on the idea. Hell, he even made a video to reject the idea — a video that was filmed in what looks like one of the massive halls inside his house. Pretty much an “F-You” to Carl’s Jr.

Cease and desist? A little dramatic, Steve. Well, Carl’s Jr at least said they were excited that Spielberg was into their burgers. And you just knew that Twitter was going to chime in on the matter:

Well done, internet.
