While Super Bowl Sunday was of course all about the game, we also checked in to see the commercials, but especially all the new trailers and TV spots that the biggest movie companies out there had to offer. And while people saw everything from a new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer to Dwayne Johnson’s new movie Skyscraper trailer, it was really the tiny, small budget film called The Quiet Place that really grabbed our attention.

The Quiet Place, directed by John Krasinski, who of course played Jim Halpert on The Office, stars Krasinski and his real-life wife, Emily Blunt. The film is described as a sci-fi thriller and it focuses on a supernatural threat that hunts people by sound. So because of that it seems like the majority of the movie will be pretty damn quiet and won’t be featuring a ton of dialogue.

Let’s first take a look at the TV spot that aired during the big game.

And if that’s not creepy enough, the full-length trailer will definitely up the creep-factor.

This definitely looks like a new type of film that we need as it will be a nice change of pace from what’s currently being churned out one after the other in Hollywood. The only thing that could make this film look creepier is if Dwight Schrute showed up and started selling beets.
