“The Master of Horror” has found a third act as a musician with his popular Anthology series of releases. The latest is centered on his own movie compositions, Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998, which features themes from ChristineHalloweenAssault on Precinct 13They LiveThe Thing and more. The cult auteur is currently on tour with a Los Angeles stop on Oct. 31 (what else?) at the Hollywood Palladium.

John Carpenter’s Halloween – Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross

Speaking of John Carpenter, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have released a spectacular cover of the Halloween theme on Friday the 13th. The Academy Award winning duo somehow make the iconic theme even more creepier. 

Ghostbusters Theme – Trap Remix

Ghostbusters gets the trap treatment because why the f%ck not? Well, at least it’s better than the movie remake.

IT – Benjamin Wallfisch

The new IT is the highest grossing horror movie off all-time, but not enough horror fans are talking about composer Benjamin Wallfisch’s hauntingly fantastic score.
