Depeche Mode is hiring. There is no pay, but the bragging rights are priceless. Since the iconic alt-rock-electronica band is hard at work on their upcoming album, Spirit, they won’t be able to maintain their Facebook page (see below for details).

Thus, starting today, any “Enjoy the Silence” fan interested in becoming the page’s administrator for a day can apply at takeover.depechemode.com. The band will be recruiting hundreds of curators from their diverse fan base, which means one curator per day for 365 days.

They can then share their Depeche Mode story by posting personal anecdotes, videos, concert photos, covers of the band’s songs, or other Depeche Mode-related content. Through this, the band hopes to uncover old, new, and never-before-told tales and content to be shared with the page’s millions of fans and followers.

Here’s what Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan had to say about the contest on their Facebook page.

This announcement comes shortly after the release of Depeche Mode’s single “Where’s The Revolution”, the first new music from the band in four years and the first offering from their upcoming album, Spirit, which will be released March 17th via Columbia Records
