One of the more outspoken musicians against President Donald Trump has been Zedd. Now, the Russian-born German DJ/producer is putting his beats where his mouth is by announcing a benefit concert for the ACLU’s fight against the current administration.
The “WELCOME” fundraiser will take place on Monday, April 3rd, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Zedd just Tweeted “Phase 1” of the all-star line-up featuring: Skrillex, Incubus, Macklemore, Tinashe, Imagine Dragons, Daya, and Halsey.
“As an immigrant myself, I feel the need to stand up against the tyranny that threatens our basic human rights,” said Zedd in a press release.
Zedd also said that more acts will be announced and that tickets will go on sale next Thursday, Feb. 9th.
