All AC/DC Songs End The Same, And Someone Lined Up The Proof

It may not exactly be hard-hitting news at this point — hard rocking news, maybe — but AC/DC’s sound hasn’t changed much over their nearly 45 years in existence. In fact, about the only thing that has been modified are the members themselves, with the loss of bassist Cliff Williams last year leaving the group’s original members down to one: Angus Young. Sure, in many ways he is the core of AC/DC, but there is one other aspect of the aging rock legends’ music that plays an almost equally significant role in their status as one of the greatest bands in history.

As you may or may not have ever noticed, AC/DC aren’t the type of musicians to fade out. Again, we aren’t talking about the band itself, which you probably didn’t even realize was still going on tours. We mean their actual songs. You’d be hard-pressed to find a single one that doesn’t end with a loud crash of drums, guitar, or both (sometimes accompanied by a Brian Johnson “Ow!” for good measure). If you don’t believe us, 100.7 KSLX went ahead and lined them all up in a segment called “How Should We End This?” to prove it.

All AC/DC Songs End The Same

To paraphrase Neil Young’s ‘Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black),’ “It’s better to rock out than to fade away.”
